Built on research-based models of effective professional development, professional learning communities and online communities of practice, MOOC-Ed courses focus on job-embedded, peer-supported and self-directed learning in which educators are exposed to a variety of perspectives on course material.
Nine years ago, the Friday Institute launched an initiative focused on meeting the growing needs of schools and equipping educators with research-based professional development. Since then, online professional learning at the Friday Institute has served more than 76,000 educators in 50 states and more than 160 countries.
