Friday Institute Affiliation Designations for College of Education Faculty

In an effort to promote synergistic research relations between the Friday Institute and the College of Education, College of Education faculty may affiliate with the Friday Institute based on alignment with the Friday Institute mission. Three different types of affiliation are available, with different levels of engagement with the Friday Institute: Friday Institute Scholars, Friday Institute Faculty Fellows, and Friday Institute Faculty Senior Fellows. Most typically, interested faculty would start as a Scholar and over time they can become Fellows or Senior Fellows. When College of Education faculty collaborate with the Friday Institute on a funded project, they automatically acquire the title of Friday Institute Scholar. They can then be nominated and approved by their departments and the Friday Institute to acquire the title of Friday Institute Faculty Fellow. Finally, College of Education faculty who are nominated and approved by the Friday Institute and their departments to become Friday Institute Faculty Fellow serve on the Friday Institute leadership team, provide leadership and direction for the Friday Institute and contribute to the overall intellectual life of the Friday Institute.
