Differentiation for All Learners: Tips and Strategies

The ability to reach all our students during this time is crucial. Together we will reflect on tips and strategies to not only make your remote learning accessible and equitable but ensure you are meeting your learners where they are with the tools, resources and support they need.

We invite educators to continue to learn and grow with these resources. Discover and collect new ideas and examples relevant to you after viewing the session video and related resources. Take notes and reflect while you view so you can customize the techniques for your own remote learning and classroom needs and adapt the strategies for your students. Let these guiding questions support your reflective practice after viewing the session and/or reviewing of session materials:

  1. In which ways are you continuing to support your students’ individual learning needs?
  2. When planning your remote learning curriculum, which elements, ideas, or concepts shared can you incorporate to promote authentic engagement, accessibility, and differentiated assessment?
  3. What are some strategies you have implemented, or want to implement, to support quality communication, feedback, and interaction with your students? What do you hope these strategies will foster?
