STEM East Network Evaluation

Through funding from the Golden LEAF Foundation, the STEM East Network has partnered with the Friday Institute to implement a comprehensive evaluation of six eastern North Carolina school districts funded to establish STEM programs aligned with regional employers’ needs for skilled workers. STEM East will act as the coordinator working directly with the evaluation team from the Friday Institute and six grantees: Carteret School District, Craven County Schools, Duplin County Schools, Greene County Schools, Lenoir County Public Schools, and Onslow County Schools. The evaluation team will create a sustainable plan to enhance the evaluation capacity of the grantees; develop STEM education tools, process, and practices; and, assess the impact of the program using common outcomes.
