NLI 2020

New Literacies Teacher Leader Institute

Engage in global inquiry on July 20 – 22, 2020 at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation

Welcome to the New Literacies Teacher Leader Institute (NLI) 2020! During the three days of intensive professional development and networking opportunities you will learn how to engage your students in Project-Based Inquiry (PBI) Global.  PBI Global is a five-phase iterative inquiry cycle in which learners ask compelling questions; gather and analyze sources; creatively synthesize claims and evidences; critically evaluate and revise; and share, publish, and act. You, as teachers, will participate in theory-into-practice sessions geared toward planning one’s own collaborative inquiry project focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
