Conceptualizing Non-Contact Forces: The Efficacy of Visuo-haptic Simulations

Our research and evaluation team investigated the efficacy of real-time, interactive visuo-haptic simulations for teaching STEM concepts. The project focused on documenting the role that haptic learning plays in science education. The series of studies included studies of forces, random motion and thermal motion. Students in this study included elementary, middle, high school and undergraduate students.
