FIRE – Conceptualizing Non-Contact Forces: The Efficacy of Visuohaptic Simulations

FIRE is investigating the efficacy of real-time, interactive visuo-haptic simulations for teaching STEM concepts. The project focuses on documenting the role that haptic learning plays in science education. The series of studies includes studies of forces, random motion, and thermal motion. FIRE students include elementary, middle, high school and undergraduate students.
