Evaluation and Policy

Local, state and federal policies guide schools to become more effective at preparing students. Our Evaluation Team conducts research and evaluation studies of innovations in K-12 schools and districts in North Carolina. We work collaboratively with implementers and other partners to ensure that findings from our studies are used to improve programs and inform policy. Dr. Jenifer Corn and Dr. Trip Stallings are the co-directors of the Friday Institute Evaluation Team. The FIET conducts the following program evaluations and policy analyses of educational innovations, research projects and funding initiatives in order to inform decisions about educational policies, programs, research and funding. Click here to visit the team’s website.
