Join the New Literacies Collaborative for a free, 3-day summer institute focused on engaging in global inquiry!
The New Literacies Teacher Leader Institute (NLI) 2020 offers K-12 educators three days of intensive professional development and networking opportunities toward engaging students in Project-Based Inquiry (PBI) Global – a five-phase iterative inquiry cycle in which learners ask compelling questions; gather and analyze sources; creatively synthesize claims and evidences; critically evaluate and revise; and share, publish, and act. During the summer institute, teachers will participate in theory-into-practice sessions geared toward planning one’s own collaborative inquiry project focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Register today to secure your spot!
The NLI will run from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm on July 20-22, 2020 at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at NC State University. CEUs are available.
