Session: Kami – Make Document and PDF Annotation Simple!
Kami is a free PDF annotation tool that you and your students can use for completing forms, worksheets, and other documents they could otherwise not easily annotate online. It creates a document you can share with your students that can even include video, images, and other media. Teachers can annotate and give the students a variety of feedback. I will be sharing Kami’s integration with Google Classroom and Canvas so that you can return to your classrooms using this powerful PDF annotator with your students.
My name is Eve Walker. I have been an educator for 21 years. I’ve taught first through fourth grade and worked as a Digital Learning and Innovation Specialist for 5 years. I currently work in McDowell County Schools in Marion, NC. I love my job as a DLIS and am constantly learning and sharing new and innovative ways to engage students in their learning. I also enjoy collaborating with teachers by sharing tools with them that can help them provide meaningful and engaging lessons for all students and make classroom management seamless.
Please be prompt as participation credit will only be awarded for those participants who arrive on time and stay for the duration of the session (20 minutes). You will be asked to complete a sign-in form and feedback form for every session you attend and your participation will be tracked for the awarding of CEUs which will be presented at the end of our series (May 25th) via email.
CEU credit is not awarded by the Friday Institute for recorded viewing of session content. Please work with your Central Office on how to receive educational credit internally.
