Friday Institute cross–talk sessions give internal teams an opportunity to briefly share a portion of their work and stimulate discussion across all teams at the Friday Institute and College of Education to further collaborations, introduce new concepts, address research design problems and more.
This month, the Friday Institute Research and Evaluation (FIRE) team will share updates and analyses of existing data related to their assessment of progress made on North Carolina’s Digital Learning Plan as well as the status of the plan’s implementation. The team will also discuss their collection and preliminary analysis of state and district stakeholder feedback and input on the Digital Learning Plan in order to guide future work, priorities and needs, plus current efforts to support digital content needs during remote learning. The session will conclude with a discussion on potential collaboration with other teams for advancing the digital learning plan priorities and recommendations, ideas for external partners and schools to engage on this topic, and opportunities for future proposals and projects.
