Session: Coaching through a Pandemic: From Survive to Thrive
Six weeks prior to March 13, 2020, I began a new leadership role as an Instructional Technology Coach in my district. Join this chat to learn how I transformed challenges into opportunities to help our school move from surviving to thriving in remote, hybrid, and face-to-face learning.
Holly King, a veteran science educator turned ITF, is a champion of using digital tools and technologies in the educational setting and loves to create and implement innovative classroom frameworks while leading others to do the same. Her leadership experience in instructional coaching transforms classrooms through collaboration, personalized professional development, and individualized goal setting. Holly has served as a secondary science educator for 22 years before transitioning into the role of Instructional Technology Coach where she leads at the building, district, and state level. Holly hopes to inspire educators to transform their learning spaces through the development of innovative instructional practices, ensuring that all students are challenged to communicate, critically think, problem-solve, and create every day.
Please be prompt as participation credit will only be awarded for those participants who arrive on time and stay for the duration of the session (20 minutes). You will be asked to complete a sign-in form and feedback form for every session you attend and your participation will be tracked for the awarding of CEUs which will be presented at the end of our series (May 25th) via email.
CEU credit is not awarded by the Friday Institute for recorded viewing of session content. Please work with your Central Office on how to receive educational credit internally.
