Session: Building Community with Hybrid & Remote Learners
Participants will leave this session with a variety of tools to help students connect and build relationships in hybrid/remote environments. Get your students interacting with content—and each other!—in meaningful ways.
I am a middle grades CTE teacher, with a background in ELA and Social Studies, at Owen Middle School in Swannanoa. I’ve coped with the pandemic by 1) reading every available tartan-noir novel, and 2) buying a bicycle. The former gave me bad dreams, and the latter resulted in a crash involving a groundhog and months of knee rehab.
CEU credit is not awarded by the Friday Institute for recorded viewing of session content. Please work with your Central Office on how to receive educational credit internally.
