Webinars Offered by the Friday Institute
The 1:1 Learning Collaborative is launching its fall webinar series designed to guide teachers and administrators that are planning or implementing 1:1 Learning Technology Programs. The webinars are typically one-hour, live web-based Elluminate sessions, facilitated by seasoned 1:1 learning technology practitioners. Most webinars will include presentations and/or demonstrations, participant interaction, and some time for questions about the given topic. All sessions are free thanks to support from the Golden LEAF Foundation. Also, these webinars will be archived on the NC 1:1 Learning Collaborative Website (http://www.fi.ncsu.edu/1to1webinarsarchive)
Directions on Setting Up Elluminate
Please use the same location and equipment that you will use when you attend the actual Elluminate session(s) to complete the following steps:
- Go to http://www.elluminate.com/support.
- Make sure Step 1 shows a green check. If you do not see a green check, follow the instructions to obtain the latest version of Java.
- Enter the Configuration Room as outlined in Step 2. Follow the directions in the Configuration Room to test your audio setup. If you have ANY PROBLEMS configuring Elluminate, call 866-388-8674, option 2. Elluminate Live! support is available 24 hours day, 7 days a week.
