Policy & Action Series to focus
on assessment and accountability

-- The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies in the College of Education and the Friday Institute will host
this year's Policy & Action Series on April 26 at 4 p.m.
The seminar, "Putting a Face to the Data: The Future of Student Assessment and School Accountability," will take place at the

Featured speakers include Dr. William Sanders of the UNC system and SAS Institute,
(bio) and Dr. Gerald Bracey,
a noted educational researcher and author (bio).
A panel discussion, featuring nationally known educators Dr. Louis Fabrizio, Joel Giffin and Sharon
Kirk, will help focus on key issues.
The event is free and open to the public.
