Dr. Chris Dede discusses transforming education for the 21st century
Raleigh, N.C. (March 16, 2007)
-- Dr. Chris Dede, Timothy E. Wirth Professor in Learning Technologies, Harvard School of Education, spoke at the Friday Institute on the "Challenges and Opportunities in Transforming Education for the 21st Century." Dr. Dede focused on current initiatives to help students gain 21st Century Skills and schools transform to meet challenges of US global competitiveness must move beyond rhetoric to strategic planning. This session outlined the major challenges and opportunities involved in reorienting 20th century educational systems to fully prepare students for the next few decades.
