Leadership in Blended Learning

The Leadership in Blended Learning program is a capacity building program designed to meet the professional learning needs of principals as they transition to digital and blended learning.

Leadership in Blended Learning was developed by the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation at NC State University in collaboration with the NC Principals & Assistant Principals’ Association (NCPAPA) with initial funding from The Learning Accelerator (TLA). The program includes two phases:

Phase 1: Facilitator Training

Phase 2: Principal Training (by Local Facilitators)

Leadership in Blended Learning includes a five session (60 hours) blended, research-based, hands-on program for principals that addresses key issues in leading the transition to blended and digital learning including: understanding blended learning models, leading culture shifts, transitioning teaching and learning, developing professional learning, addressing “nuts and bolts” and planning for implementation.
