National Advisory Board Meets
The National Advisory Board of the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation met on November 12, 2008 for its annual meeting. Members discussed the work of the Friday Institute and its impact. They also discussed future challenges and ways for the Friday Institute to meet those challenges.
The board was joined by its newest member, Clark Plexico, an executive with AT&T and former NC state senator. Returning members of the board also in attendance were Ronald Bailey, Shelley Goldman, Ann Goodnight, Keith Krueger, Bert L’Homme, Jim Pelligrino, Steve Rasmussen, Shawna Young and Kay Moore. Board members not able to attend include J. B. Buxton, Diana Oblinger, Saundra Nettles, Bill Friday and Chris Dede.
